The Kungsleden Trail

Lapland is the homeland of the Sámi, who have lived here for thousands of years, using the land as part of their traditional migration. Reindeer are part of their cultural identity and an important resource for the communities. Today Reindeer herding is carried out in 51 Sámi communities in Sweden and during our journey we experience a unique insight into this fascinating culture. Characterised by daily mountain saunas this journey is like no other.
