Located between the autonomous region of Tibet and India, Nepal is home to some of the worlds largest mountains, including Mount Everest. With the Nepalese government opening many new trekking routes, it is now possible for Western visitors to explore these once forbidden regions. Multiple ethnic groups call Nepal their home, with over 100 different languages spoken in a land where cultural diversity is everywhere and proves of the many highlights when visiting this enchanting country. The hidden valley of Naar Phu is located to the east of the Annapurna Range. Breaking off from the traditional Annapurna Circuit at Koto, you head into a region traditionally settled by Tibetan salt traders hundreds of years ago. With high mountain passes, spectacular rock formations, snowy mountain peaks and ancient monasteries, trekking the Naar Phu Valley makes for a wonderfully diverse trip over 16 days of adventure.
