This is our 4th trip to Europe with LBH and Tanya and her team knocked it out of the park again. The route and accommodations along with little details for transport etc were spot on! Highly recommend the TMB self guided tour - the app and GPS mapping make it super easy and intuitive to follow.

This was an incredible trip - not too easy for my teenagers, and not too challenging or technical for mom :) From stunning views, to waterfalls, spring flowers, picnics, and the occasional traffic jam due to Swiss cows and goats on the trails, it was an great adventure for our family. The accommodations/huts were the perfect blend - giving you both local hut to hut to history hotel experiences. Our family had a wonderful time and we hope to have future trips with Tanya and Live Breathe Hike. What also made the trip a smashing success was our guide, Emily S.! She was patient, knowledgeable about the region/trails, local towns, ecology, history, local protocols, etc. We always felt safe, well supported, and well fed throughout the trip. We never felt rushed, and she took extra care and effort to scope out the trails, train schedules, local merchants before we arrived/set out in order to get everything in order early. Emily was extremely attentive to our individual family needs, wide range of hiking abilities, moods, and helped us navigate every detail, even when there was mild altitude sickness - well beyond our expectations for a local guide. She was patient with our teenage boys, engaging them throughout the trek, and playing along with their games and jokes. Highly recommend this trip as it gives you a taste of everything and Tanya's team is very experienced!

This was our first trip to Nepal and we wanted to go a little off the beaten track. I would highly recommend both this route and Live Breathe Hike. The organisation by Tanya and the guides/porters were great, and the hike was truly stunning. The villages of Naar and Phu are well worth the effort to get to them, and the chance to do a day hike to a base camp was an added bonus. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to get an introduction to hiking in the Himalayas - just trying to find the time to do another trip.

It was such a pleasure working with Tanya on my client's hut to hut trip in Switzerland. She was super responsive, always willing to hop on a call with me to answer any questions and super informative. The clients had the most amazing trip, loved their guide, still rave about the detailed planning and amazing food! It was absolutely one of their favorite trips of their lifetime and they are really hoping to get back to Europe as soon as they can!
